Apartment Lido
Apartment Lido is located in the popular lakeside resort of Lido di Gozzano, a few hundred meters from the city limits of Orta San Giulio and only 4,5 km from its historic center.
How to reach us
Lake Orta can be easily reached by all means of transport:
- by car: drive along the A26 highway, then exit at Arona (coming from Milan and from Domodossola/Verbania) or Borgomanero (arriving from other directions). Follow the road directions to Gozzano and Orta San Giulio along the SS229 Novara-Domodossola;
- by plane: Lake Orta is located about 45 km from Milan Malpensa Airport (SS336 to Vergiate, then highway to Arona) and about 100 km from Milan Linate Airport (take the "tangenziale", then highway to Arona);
- by train: the train stations of Orta San Giulio (about 2 km from the city center) and Gozzano (about 2,5 km from the apartment) are served by the Novara-Domodossola railway line.

Parking
The historic center of Orta San Giulio is closed to traffic.
There are free and paid parking a few hundred meters from the flats.
Guests of Apartments Cusius and Horta will be granted a car place in a covered parking 200 m away (2 minute walk).
Apartment Lido has a private parking place in the villa's courtyard.
Info and facilities
Apartment Cusius and Horta are located in the historic center of Orta San Giulio, just two steps away from all the main facilities:
- bank and post office: they are both a few steps away;
- food: on the ground floor of the building there is one of the most renowned grocery stores, full of local specialties;
- bars, restaurants, pizzerias: the whole town is rich of pubs, bars, ice cream shops, wine bars, pizzerias and restaurants to suit all tastes (and for all budgets);
- supermarket: in Piazza Motta there is a small convenience store; the nearest supermarket is in Gozzano, 10 minutes by car;
- health: you can find a pharmacy near Piazza Motta, while there is a small medical clinic in the square overlooked by the flats; the closest hospitals are in Omegna and Borgomanero, both about 15 km away;
- shopping: the center of Orta is full of shops selling typical products and local crafts; don't miss also the antique shops, one of them is right under you;
- landing stage: in Piazza Motta you will find both the boats of the public Lake Orta Navigation, and the ones of the private carriers that will offer you a trip to the island of San Giulio or to the other destinations on the lake;
- beaches: you are just a few meters from the lake, so you can enjoy a refreshing swim along the promenade that runs around the peninsula to the north of Orta; if you want to relax in the sun you can choose Ortello, or the equipped beach of Bagnera, maybe thinking of renting a pedal or a small motor boat (both about 10 minutes walk);
- golf: if you love golf you'll have lots of choices; on the hills between Lake Orta and Maggiore there is the Golf Alpino, one of the oldest courses in Italy (1924), but within a short distance there are other prestigious resorts such as the Golf Club des Iles Borromées, the Golf Club Castelconturbia and the Golf Club Bogogno.
Apartment Lido is located in the popular lakeside resort of Lido di Gozzano, 150 meters from the lake and the equipped beach of Lido di Gozzano, where you can find also a bar, a restaurant, a pizzeria, a gym, and a rowing center.
You can find all the facilities in the nearby towns of Gozzano (2,5 km) and Orta San Giulio (4,5 km).
Supermarkets and a pharmacy are directly along the main road, towards Gozzano, about 2 km away.
